They have all been put to use and are very loved and appreciated. \r\n\r\nStudents who struggle to sit still in a standard desk, love the bean bag chairs and the flexible bands for the bottom of their desks, as they provide much needed sensory input.\r\nThe fidget items also help students keep a calm body and mind while silently keeping their hands busy in order to focus during instruction. \r\n\r\nThe novels purchased have engaged the students and have created a love of reading for many who can relate to the topics/characters in them, as they face hardships such as poverty, abuse, racism, bullying and family dysfunction, and are shown ways through these hurdles.\r\n\r\nThe PE equipment has enabled some who typically don't participate in PE to partake and enjoy it, which is definitely what this group of students need in order to expend excess energy that could otherwise lead to serious behavioral issues. \r\n\r\nThank you so very much for your generous donation to my classroom, it's beyond appreciated!
