Your generosity means to me and to the students I work with each day. As a school based occupational therapy assistant, I help students develop skills that support their participation, independence, and success at school. Having access to materials allows me to create activities that meet students where they are while encouraging them to try new things.\r\nThe students I serve have a variety of strengths, interests, and support needs. Some are working on holding a pencil, using scissors, or completing classroom tasks, while others need support with coordination, regulation, or participating in daily routines. Each student brings something special to our sessions, and I enjoy finding ways to make learning feel engaging and achievable. Your donation will help me provide more opportunities for students to practice these skills through purposeful activities and play.\r\nOne of my favorite parts of working in occupational therapy is seeing students become more confident in themselves. A task that seems small to someone else can represent a meaningful accomplishment for a child. Writing their name, completing an activity with less help, or trying something that previously felt difficult can be an exciting moment. Your support helps create opportunities for these moments and gives students tools to continue building their abilities.\r\nThese resources will also help me offer different ways for students to participate. Every child learns differently, and an activity that works well for one student may need to be adapted for another. Having additional materials gives me more flexibility to adjust activities based on individual needs and interests. This helps me make our time together more meaningful while connecting the skills we practice to the activities students complete throughout their school day.\r\nI care deeply about making OT a positive part of each student's day. I want students to feel welcomed, supported, and proud of their efforts. Whether we are practicing a classroom skill or working through a challenging activity, my goal is to help them experience success and recognize their progress. Your generosity supports that goal by helping me bring fresh ideas and useful resources into our sessions.\r\nYour donation is also a reminder that there are people who care about our students and want to support their education. As an educator and therapy practitioner, that encouragement means a great deal. It is wonderful to know that others are willing to invest in opportunities that help children learn, grow, and participate more fully at school.\r\nThank you for choosing to be part of this project and for helping provide resources for my students. I look forward to putting these materials to use and sharing the impact of your kindness. Please know that your contribution is appreciated and will support activities planned with our students' needs in mind. I am grateful for your willingness to help and for the difference your support can make in their everyday school experiences.
