Purchasing bit boards and additional supplies have allowed my students to take their coding a step further. \r\nUsing our new bit boards, we coded servos to make paper bats and ghosts fly. We currently code simple circuits lighting an LED light. With the micro:bits, we connected more LED lights and are working with our buddies to light up Christmas trees, houses, and snowmen. \r\nWe are also troubleshooting using the bit boards and micro:bits with snap circuits to build a wind speed tester. They have designed and printed bubble wands to test how bubbles are different during the seasons. They built American monuments out of LEGOs and designed a corresponding 3-D printed model. Each student also created vases and coasters for important people in their lives.
