My students couldn't wait to dive into the boxes and explore all the new materials — especially the colorful new glazes. Many of them had only ever worked with a limited color palette before, so seeing such a wide variety of rich, professional-quality colors sparked so much inspiration.\r\n\r\nWe are already using the texture rollers and underglazes in our current unit on surface design. Students are learning how texture, color layering, and glaze choice can completely change the mood and meaning of a piece. They've been experimenting on test tiles and are now planning larger projects — like mugs and sculptural pieces — where they can combine multiple glazing techniques. The new kiln stilts, shelves, and dipping tongs have also made a huge difference, allowing us to safely fire more student work at once and achieve cleaner results.\r\n\r\nNext, my students will be creating a series of pieces that demonstrate their individual artistic voice using these new materials. They'll be experimenting with layering underglazes beneath Potter's Choice glazes to discover unique effects, documenting their process, and reflecting on their creative choices. These new tools are helping them think like real ceramic artists, and I can already see their confidence growing with each project.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping make this possible. Your generosity has brought fresh energy and opportunity to our studio, and it means the world to my students and me.","fullyFundedDate":1758572705559,"projectUrl":"project/ceramic-supplies/9658993/","projectTitle":"Ceramic Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Campbell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4743766_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1504229225289","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4743766"},{"teacherId":3229991,"projectId":9114997,"letterContent":"As the Biology teachers we want to extend our deepest gratitude for your support for this project.
