Over the years all of the pH probes in the science department have slowly gotten to the point that only one or two work at any time. We need ten new pH probes so that students can get accurate results when they are doing a lab that requires a pH reading. We are requesting ten new pH probes so my students can get accurate readings for pH labs. Using pH probes rather than strips of pH paper makes students feel more professional about a lab. It also makes their results much more precise. It is important that students learn to use some of the kinds of lab equipment they will be using at the next level in college.
