The materials has helped us to make books that are laminated and binded together for families and students to enjoy looking at them for years to come. The laminating machine is mostly use by the adults because we do not want 3 years olds sticking their fingers in the machine but the students have enjoyed helping in the process by giving the papers to the teacher to laminate. Students also help with pushing down the handle on the binding machine. When the books are put together we enjoy reading it as a class and looking through our own made books.\r\n\r\n We also had a variety of materials that use velcro in our classroom. Velcro has helped to make communication boards for our students to communicate in the classroom. Velcro is also used to help with fine motor strengthening activities in the classroom. All the materials provided through donors choose have been out to great use and we appreciate all the help your organization provided through the donations. My preschoolers have loved looking through the books we made and using communication boards in the classroom. The wipes have helped us to prevent germs from spreading, and allow us to practice having good hygiene by wiping down our own desks and chairs at the end of the school day. Our students have also been able to practice their skills by being responsible for sweeping the classroom floors daily with the brooms that you so graciously donated. They love sweeping and are always excited for their turn! The paper is being put to good use by allowing us to make crafts for our PBL project and build our writing and drawing skills.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I greatly appreciate the technology wipes because it allows me to wipe down their iPads that we use weekly for iReady. It is really good for getting rid of the germs from the iPad without scratching or damaging the screen with harmful chemicals from the regular wipes. I also appreciate the rolling cart because it allows me to have all of our cleaning supplies in one area that can move for flexibility! The standing desk also allows me to move freely, instead of being stationary at a big/bulky desk. One of my favorite moments was watching a small group use the magnetic tiles to design a \"dream city,\" while another student practiced reading fluency on a wobble stool, happily bouncing in rhythm. The balance board has also become a quiet favorite. Students love challenging themselves to stay centered while working through a task.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, we're now able to take our next steps on our current project.
