Our 6th grade students are smart, hard working, and inquisitive children. They are learning to be independent problem solvers. They are tech savvy and enjoy learning and using new applications. The students are very interested in robotics after a 2 week unit intro lesson using the schools old NXT robots. As a Title 1 school, our families may not be able to afford or provide opportunities to enhance learning and we strive to provide student-centered technology integrated learning opportunities for all students. I want to continue to fuel this interest by integrating more Lego robotics activities in the classroom with these students and future 6th grade classes.
