Your kindness has had a meaningful impact on our learning environment, and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity.\r\n\r\nFrom the moment the new seating arrived, my students were filled with excitement. They eagerly helped unpack and arrange the seating and could not wait to begin using it. The enthusiasm they showed demonstrated their appreciation for having a classroom environment designed with their comfort and learning needs in mind. Their excitement was an immediate reminder of the positive difference your donation has made.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating has become an essential part of our daily classroom routine. Every day, students take advantage of the various seating options available to them. Whether they choose to sit in a wobble chair, a floor seat, a flexible stool, or another alternative seating arrangement, they are able to select a space that helps them feel comfortable and ready to learn. Giving students this choice has increased their engagement and ownership of their learning experience.\r\n\r\nOne of the greatest benefits of the flexible seating has been its impact on collaboration and group work. Our classroom frequently incorporates partner activities, small-group discussions, cooperative projects, and hands-on learning experiences. The new seating allows students to move easily into groups and work together in ways that were not always possible with traditional desks and chairs. Students can gather comfortably to share ideas, solve problems, and complete projects while remaining focused and engaged. The seating has created a more dynamic and interactive learning environment where collaboration happens naturally.\r\n\r\nIn addition to supporting academics, the new seating has contributed to a positive classroom atmosphere. Students take pride in caring for the seating and treating it with respect.\r\n\r\nYour support has enhanced student engagement, encouraged collaboration, supported individual learning needs, and created a welcoming environment where students are excited to learn every day. The flexible seating is used constantly and has become one of our students' favorite parts of the classroom.\r\n\r\nOn behalf of all of our students and our classroom community, thank you for your generosity, kindness, and commitment to education. Your contribution has made a lasting difference, and we are deeply appreciative of your support. We are grateful for the opportunity you have provided our students, and we think of your generosity each day as we learn, collaborate, and grow together.","fullyFundedDate":1771632871521,"projectUrl":"project/alternative-seating/10104517/","projectTitle":"Alternative Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hokama","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8974410"},{"teacherId":7863424,"projectId":9988633,"letterContent":"When the boxes finally arrived, the excitement in the room was absolutely electric! Having access to a quick and reliable breakfast boost helped support student confidence and concentration during an important academic time.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the donated books greatly enhanced our reading curriculum by giving students access to engaging and high-quality reading materials. Having enough copies for all students will allow us to read together as a classroom community, participate in collaborative discussions, and build deeper connections to the characters, themes, and real-world lessons found in each story.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboard markers will also play an important role in supporting student learning every day. Students use whiteboards during reading, writing, math, and science lessons to practice skills, share ideas, and receive immediate feedback in a low-stress and interactive way. These hands-on learning opportunities help increase student engagement, participation, and confidence, especially for diverse learners in our inclusive classroom environment.\r\n\r\nTogether, these resources will help create a more supportive, engaging, and literacy-rich classroom where all students can succeed. This past semester, the resources has assisted the students in completing their journey of learning more about art. They were so excited seeing the boxes of supplies being opened. It was a humble experience for them because they learned that their are supplies that need extra care, and how to take care on how to use and preserve them while having fun.\r\n\r\nWith the supplies, the students have learned the basic learning skills in exploring art through storytelling, technology, and hands-on experiences. The supplies has been used as stepping stones to many projects which led to many responsibilities in the classroom. Through storytelling and technology they learned about famous artists. They were amazed that some of the artists were the originals of some of the pictures that they have seen everyday. Also, they were learning the colors using the color wheel with the use of the crayons and paints. They created various drawings using them. They learned more about the art of clay. They enjoyed it even though messy. We call it \"Messy Art\". The joys and challenges has been a journey. Their biggest project was creating an wall and table based on famous artists that they have learned. They were so proud to share their art pieces to their peers and teachers. Some were asked questions about them At the end of the school year, the students completed their art portfolio and a portable art notebook that they took home.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting and believing in us!
