The students are simply amazing individuals. At the school 88% of our population participates in free and reduced lunches but it's hard to tell because of the determination and great attitudes of our students. Unfortunately over the course of this pandemic we have seen how vital technology is to the success of online distance learning. When our school shut down last school year we lost touch with many students due to the lack of technology at home. As a school we tried our best to get tech resources to our students but many of our 8-9 year old laptops could not handle the rigors of many of the online resources. Losing touch was extremely disheartening for the students as well as their teachers. Thank you for your time and please consider this project. Mahalo!
