They are now working with real equipment in real-world scenarios, and the shift in the classroom energy is palpable.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part of this project has been watching students manage their own Linux sandboxes on the Raspberry Pi units. There is a visible spark of excitement when a student successfully configures a server or pings a peer's device for the first time. Their engagement levels have soared because they are no longer just clicking through a tutorial; they are architects of their own digital environments. They are learning to navigate the command line, manage root access, and troubleshoot hardware issues as they arise, which are essential, career-ready skills in cybersecurity.\r\n\r\nWe have several students who previously felt intimidated by the abstract nature of networking but have now completely warmed up to the subject after being able to physically hold the technology in their hands.
