Last school year, our mail delivery service was provided on a small scale. The few students we had attending school in person delivered mail from the office to a handful of teachers This year, we will expand our service to the entire school with all of our students back in our classroom. The uniforms, cart, crates and envelopes will help my students with special needs deliver mail to the teachers effectively and efficiently. The students will acquire work readiness skills such as appearance and professionalism, through the use of the uniform, and the appropriate use of equipment.
The uniforms and mail deliver supplies will allow the students to gain a real-life, hands on work experience while providing a valuable service to the school community.
With these request items, our students will feel welcomed and valued after spending over a year learning from home. Additionally, delivering the mail to the teachers will help to minimize the number of faculty needing to enter the enclosed office. Another mitigating factor in keeping us all healthy.
