They were so excited and asked, \"Are these really for us?\" For these kids, having access to brand-new, high-quality sewing tools made them feel truly valued and seen.\r\n\r\nThe first class focused on using the machine safely and getting familiar with its different parts. We discussed project ideas, ultimately deciding on our first creative project- book bags for them to tote their belongings from class to class. They also want to design and sew simple, wearable clothing, pillows or blankies for our little Preschoolers, and coasters and placemats for the residents in our senior homes.
