Crayons are so necessary in a kindergarten classroom, and students love to create quality work and add color to their drawings. What is more exciting to a kindergartener than getting a brand new box of crayons?? The mesh bags hold colorful tiles that we use all the time for math work. Students particularly enjoy using the tiles to act out math stories, and clean up is such a breeze with the zippered bags! Students were also more than pleased to decorate pencil cases and express their creativity and artistic skills. We read a story, then decorated the pencil case to match. It is always so fun getting to integrate art into other subject areas. \r\nI am so grateful for your help in bringing this project to life. Without your help and support, our 4ward Challenge would never be able to happen, as DOE funding sources make it difficult for these items to be purchased. \r\n\r\nWe believe that the best way to improve schoolwide attendance is to create buy-in and excitement among our students that motivates them to attend school. Classrooms collect letters to spell \"PUEO\" whenever they get perfect attendance. Once all the letters are collected, they get to spin the attendance wheel where they have a chance to win cool activities like ice shave, popcorn, extra recess, or a shot at dunking their teacher with our water bucket dunking booth.
