I want to encourage learning in person with a fresh and flexible design in our classroom. This will be the first time all students will be in class with their peers in over a year and half. Our school is very outdated and in desperate need of a facelift. I want to stimulate and motivate students by offering a more comfortable and attractive learning environment. Students have not been in the classroom for a full day in a very long time. They are not used to sitting for long periods of time in one place. With a more comfortable choice of seats, students can focus more on the tasks offered in class. Our current chairs are small, rusty and very uncomfortable. By donating to our project, you will be offering students an opportunity to feel comfortable, engaged and promote learning in our class. Students will be able to focus on learning and feel more excited to be in class with peers if they can be comfortable. Giving students this gift will uplift their spirits and also show them how valued they are in school.
