Many students use devices every day, but this project helped them move beyond simply using technology for entertainment and instead taught them how technology can be used to teach, create, and collaborate. Students worked together to design \"how-to\" posters and instructional videos focused on Chromebook tips, troubleshooting, and digital skills that could help both classmates and teachers.\r\n\r\nWhat excited students most was having a real purpose and audience for their work. They were proud knowing their posters and videos would actually help others in our school community. Students loved being treated like experts and took ownership of their projects in ways I had not seen before. The creative aspect of designing tutorials and sharing technology knowledge made students highly engaged and eager to participate.\r\n\r\nSome of my quieter students especially thrived in the Titan Tech Squad. Students who may not always stand out in traditional classroom settings became confident leaders when working with technology. It was incredible to watch them build communication skills, teamwork, and confidence while helping others learn. This project gave students valuable real-world skills and showed them that they are capable of making meaningful contributions to their school community.","fullyFundedDate":1770833991087,"projectUrl":"project/titan-technology-squad/10049550/","projectTitle":"Titan Technology Squad","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cochran","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10329659"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_74119","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":828,"numTeachers":66,"percentFrplEligible":85,"percentAsian":9,"percentBlack":21,"percentWhite":7,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":58,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":2,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":74119,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about J.A.
