The biggest struggle in the community surrounding my school is reading and basic math skills. Many of our student’s parents can’t read, write, or add. Some live with grandparents who don’t have enough money to pay for glasses to read. I want to make a difference by getting my students on the right track to reading so maybe one day they may be able to teach their families how to read. The items I’ve chosen will help me make that happen. With my energy, determination, and these resources, I can make a huge difference in the lives of my students!

About my class
