Because of your generosity, 60 students this school year have had access to the tools they need to fully engage in learning.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have made a tremendous difference in our classroom. My students use them daily during math rotations, online lessons, and individualized practice programs. Having their own headphones allows students to focus without distractions and work at their own pace. One of my favorite moments was watching students independently complete a challenging math lesson while confidently listening to directions and solving problems on their own. Students who were once hesitant to participate became more engaged and excited about learning because they could clearly hear instructions and educational videos tailored to their needs.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new headphones, they were thrilled. Many immediately asked when they could begin using them, and their excitement carried into our lessons. They felt proud and special knowing that people they had never met cared enough to support their education. Their smiles and enthusiasm reminded me how meaningful your generosity truly is.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, students will use these headphones during small-group instruction, math intervention activities, and interactive digital projects that strengthen problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. The headphones will continue to support collaborative learning while also giving students opportunities for independent practice and growth.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in my students and helping create a classroom environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed. Your kindness and support have had a lasting impact on our classroom community.","fullyFundedDate":1768928974224,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-for-4th-grade/9745710/","projectTitle":"Headphones for 4th grade","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7100547_orig.jpg?crop=733,733,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758505557157","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7100547"},{"teacherId":8508359,"projectId":9791005,"letterContent":"The atmosphere in our classroom completely transformed the moment we unboxed our new robots. One of my students looked up with wide eyes and asked, \"We actually get to keep these and build them ourselves?\" That moment of pure wonder was made possible entirely by your selflessness. For many of my students, resources like these are a rare luxury, and seeing their faces light up with a sense of ownership and pride was a memory I will cherish as an educator. Your gift has provided us with more than just equipment; it has provided a sense of validation that their learning is worth investing in.\r\n\r\nWe are currently gearing up for our first big STEM activity, and the students are buzzing with anticipation to begin the building process. They are already forming \"engineering teams\" and discussing how they will navigate the challenges of assembly and programming. Because of you, our classroom has turned into a laboratory of innovation where it's okay to fail, try again, and eventually succeed. These robots are helping my students develop the persistence and technical skills they will need for the future, and we are profoundly moved by your decision to support our journey.","fullyFundedDate":1759955589008,"projectUrl":"project/coding-confidence-building-robots-buil/9791005/","projectTitle":"Coding Confidence: Building Robots, Building Futures","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Morgan-Walker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8508359_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y253&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759538609586","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/morgan-walkerclass"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_75061","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":537,"numTeachers":45,"percentFrplEligible":90,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":68,"percentWhite":3,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":17,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":9,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":65.5,"schoolId":75061,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about North Douglas Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"North Douglas Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/georgia/douglas-county-school-system/north-douglas-elementary-school/75061"}
