Our county has purchased technology games and I have implemented them into a daily learning station for Reading and Math. Our school has a system where we share laptops so I can either only have access to a few or wait and have all and miss Reading or Math. The laptops do not have touch screens either which would make it easier for Kindergarteners. When my class receives the new tablets I could create a consistent daily rotation for my classroom groups to utilize and fully embrace technology as a learning opportunity experience. I also have one child who does not write nor recognizes letters at this time which hinders him when using the keyboard. He needs the accessibility of more modern technology and the tablets would allow my entire class that opportunity. Children of today and tomorrow are a set of generations based in technology and the tablets would allow my entire class the ability to have hands-on learning through technology.
