My students have already put all the items to use in various ways. We have used the markers to work in stations, work on whiteboards for warm-up questions, work in groups to solve problems on laminated activities (that I can reuse later!) and on whiteboards, and on our Wipebooks around the room. I have used the laminator to laminate station work so that it can be reused for years to come and a lot of student work that students can keep without damaging their work later on. It has made such a difference in that area by being able to laminate the work that we hang in the hallway so that when other students admire their work and touch it, it doesn't get ruined. \r\n\r\nI think the most exciting part of this project for my students is that they have had the option to work around the room in stations or small groups with the dry erasable option on all their materials. I feel like they are more open to making mistakes and growing from them when they have a dry eraser over a pencil and the growth that comes from that is huge. \r\n\r\nI am so thankful for the donations and will be able to use these products for years to come! The learning environment and the ability to move around the room and learn in a space that they are comfortable in is such a game changer. Their initial reaction when they came in was pure excitement and joy! It was so fun to see their faces light up! My students ask every day if they can work or sit in the beanbags or the floor on the rug and of course, I let them. It really is fun and enjoyable to be the teacher and be able to give your students the freedom to learn where they feel the safest and most comfortable. I have enjoyed and appreciated watching them thrive in our classroom now that they have the space to be able to do that.
