We use them during small-group reading instruction to practice phonics skills and build confidence as beginning readers. It's been amazing to see their excitement as they realize they can read whole books on their own!\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue progressing through our phonics units, focusing on more complex sound patterns and building fluency. We'll use the decodable readers to reinforce these new skills.
