One powerful moment came during a recent small-group reading lesson, students who would typically struggle to concentrate were alert, participating, and eager to contribute after having a snack. It may seem simple, but having that extra nourishment has transformed their ability to focus, collaborate, and persist through difficult tasks.\r\n\r\nWhen the snacks first arrived, the excitement was immediate and heartfelt. Students' eyes lit up, and many expressed gratitude right away. For some, it was the reassurance that they wouldn't have to learn on an empty stomach.
