My students do not typically have the chance to use technology outside of required school lessons. My Talented and Gifted classroom is an area that provides students with a place to think deeper, become exposed to new concepts, and demonstrate learning in whatever tool they are comfortable using. The iPad can be shared amongst the class for researching and finding out more information based on the unit I am teaching. It can also be used to answer any lingering "I wonder..." questions that students have. Due to global circumstances, the iPad is a fantastic tool for virtual field trips to places near and far or meeting with other Talented and Gifted classes around the district, state, or even the country! By donating to our project, you will give students the opportunity to have the world at their fingertips!
