As a 7th grade science teacher in a high-poverty community, it is incredibly important to me that my students feel excited about learning and see themselves as capable scientists. The new resources brought a fresh energy into our classroom and helped make learning more interactive and accessible for all students.\r\n\r\nOne of the most memorable moments was watching my students' reactions when they first saw the materials. They were genuinely excited and immediately began asking questions, making observations, and wanting to explore. Many of my students learn best through visual and hands-on experiences, so having resources that allowed them to actively participate made a huge difference. During our lessons on states of matter and thermal energy, students were able to create models, collaborate with classmates, and connect scientific concepts to real-world examples in a way that felt fun and engaging.
