I have created this project because I want the learning environment for my scholars to be a comfortable place for my students to call home. The materials that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." What I mean by that is that I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help getting these items through our door! I tried to choose unique, child friendly seating ideas such as the soccer themed and football themed bean bags! I selected sets of each because my scholars sit in groups of 4, so their bean bag will actually identify their seat! I selected the bean bag chairs for our reading corner, that way my scholars can comfortably read during group or independent reading time! Each of the selected items listed already have a unique place in the classroom such as behind desks and in our reading corner. The flexible seating will create a gathering and inviting environment during mini-lessons and independent work time. The donations going to this project will help to improve my students' learning by giving them the choice of where and how they would like to learn.
