They often wiggle around in their chairs or tip in them trying to get comfortable and being active at the same time. Many times they end up falling out of their chairs or tipping over. Your gift has given them the opportunity to be comfortable and move at the same time. \r\n\r\nWhen my students saw the new addition of wobble stools in our classroom, they squealed with excitement and couldn't wait to try them out. They loved them so much that they didn't want to get off of them. They are able to wiggle and wobble while learning without falling down.\r\n\r\nThe wobble stools are currently being used during small group instruction at my teacher table, so each student in the group has a stool to sit on. While I will continue to use them in this way for the rest of the school year, I am also able to use them in other ways throughout the day. Sometimes I am able to pull one of the stools for an individual student that needs alternative seating. Because of your generous donation, each of my new second grade dragons were able to receive a copy of \"The Night Before Second Grade\" book by Natasha Wing. I hand delivered each book to my new dragons the Thursday before school started in August. This allowed me to meet my new dragons and introduce myself before the chaos of meet the teacher and the first day of school. I was able to put a name to a face and make that personal connection to my new dragons. This also allowed me to meet my new dragons grown up, making that school and home connection. Without your donation I would not have been able to see this project through. It has been an idea that I have wanted to bring to life for 3 years. Your donation is much appreciated.
