Materials are able to be put out for them to use, and are able to be mobile between the classrooms I serve with the carts, allowing more students to use them easily every day. The variety of organizational supplies have been a wonderful addition to our room, and have helped me keep so many things on hand for both myself and my students. The podium has also given my students who struggle with sitting still in the hard plastic school desks all day a safe, organized place to stand or sit in a different position, without fear of not having a secure spot for their laptop. \r\n\r\nThe many supplies (such as the box of pencils and the variety of markers) you provided have ensured that no student goes without a pencil, and that they can bring a little color into their lives when creating a project. I have also been able to reward my hard workers with stickers and candy, and I am able to store that candy in airtight containers without worrying about bugs, thanks to you. Even small tokens like these can make a world of difference when used to recognize a student's efforts, and this is made even sweeter for me by being one less thing to come out of my already tight budget, as we don't often get assistance with reward items and must usually purchase these ourselves. I am eternally grateful for everything you have done to help make our classes a bit nicer to be in.","fullyFundedDate":1753884972443,"projectUrl":"project/mobile-supplies-for-mastering-goals/9459984/","projectTitle":"Mobile Supplies for Mastering Goals","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rushing","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6732024_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752348052704","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6732024"},{"teacherId":9575828,"projectId":9405938,"letterContent":"I can't thank you enough for helping bring flexible seating to our agriculture classroom! Because of your generosity, my students now have a learning space that matches the hands-on, collaborative nature of agricultural education. The difference these new seating options have made is truly incredible.\r\n\r\nOne of the most special moments happened during a leadership activity tied to FFA (Future Farmers of America). We were preparing for our upcoming Career Development Events, and students spread out across the room to practice public speaking, record their speeches, and coach one another. The flexible seating allowed them to choose spaces that helped them feel calm and confident—something that's so important when preparing to present. A student who's usually nervous speaking in front of others told me, \"I like practicing on the floor cushion—it feels more relaxed, like I can just talk instead of perform.\" That comment really showed me how this space helps meet both academic and emotional needs.\r\n\r\nYour generosity did more than just provide furniture—you helped create an environment that reflects what agricultural education is all about: teamwork, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. Because of your support, my students have a classroom that fosters curiosity and collaboration every single day.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in my students and in the future of agricultural education. Not a single student was left out because they couldn't afford one. In fact, students were so appreciative that they even asked for notebooks to use in other classes. I was also able to share some with fellow teachers on campus, which was a wonderful bonus.\r\n\r\nThe cleaning supplies have made a world of difference in the look and feel of our classroom. I honestly never thought my project would be funded. So when I got email, I was shocked to say the least.\r\n\r\nSecondly, I use a program in my classroom called Lumio, which allows my presentation to be seen on each individual laptop and also allows me to do check questions, so I can formatively assess. When a student has a dead laptop, I do not get the opportunity to do these formative assessments. Also, my students get genuinely upset when I cannot use Lumio for one reason or another or if their laptop is dead and they cannot see the presentation on their laptop.\r\n\r\nHaving these power strips in my classroom has honestly made a huge difference. My school switched to laptops this year and these laptops do not last all day. Before the surge protectors, students would have to move around the classroom, sometimes sitting by themselves. This may not seem like a big deal, but I do a lot of gradual release in my classroom, so having students in their designated groups allows students to have productive conversations about math.","fullyFundedDate":1733245329911,"projectUrl":"project/power-to-the-classroom/8802509/","projectTitle":"Power to the Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rivera","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9763923"},{"teacherId":9575828,"projectId":8664589,"letterContent":"Thank you for the donation to help give my kids an incentive to work toward that is also healthy.
