Too many times, our students do not know where a city, state or country is. Showing them in a book does not always cut it. Students today need more. These globes will allow students to take an adventure around the world and learn about countries they may have never heard of. It can give them a virtual vacation to places they may never visit and help them to learn important things that may never hear about in standard classrooms. As a social studies teacher, geography is a major point of emphasis that unfortunately gets passed over quite a bit in elementary. These globes could help close that gap.
