Early literacy is a huge passion of mine and I try to incorporate as many skills as I can into my classroom. \r\n\r\nMy students love books and listening to them being read to them. One thing that I was lacking in my classroom was more non-fiction books. I only had a handful before this project. Finding non-fiction books that are simple and on my student level is difficult. This book series is great because the pictures are simple and not too overwhelming for my students. The information is great and to the point without too many wordy pages. These will be fantastic to use in my classroom for many years to come. The students have already been enjoying them.","fullyFundedDate":1778162684192,"projectUrl":"project/non-fiction-books-for-us/10193479/","projectTitle":"Non-Fiction Books for Us","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jamie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2325806_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1515074864542","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-jhagan"},{"teacherId":2325806,"projectId":9770976,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom! You have helped add new STEM materials to our classroom. My students learn best through engaging hands on activities like building. When building with blocks they are working on early collaboration skills, communication, social skill development, and perceptual motor skills. These skills help prepare them for future learning and socialization. \r\n\r\nPerceptual motor skills are crucial in linking their senses with motor movements. I wanted to take a moment to share just how much of an impact this has already had on our students and their learning experience.\r\n\r\nHow It's Helping Students Learn\r\n\r\nThis new TV has truly transformed how we engage with lessons. We now have the ability to stream educational videos, display interactive lessons, and use visual tools that make complex concepts easier to understand. Whether we're diving into a science experiment or enjoying a virtual field trip to a farm, the large screen helps all students see clearly and stay focused. It brings learning to life in a way that a whiteboard simply can't.\r\n\r\nWhat's Exciting for Students\r\n\r\nWhat's most exciting for the students is how interactive and engaging our lessons have become. They love watching educational videos, listening to songs, and dancing together. For many, it feels like the classroom has caught up with the kind of technology they're used to at home — but now it's being used in a way that helps them grow academically.\r\n\r\nReal Student Impact\r\n\r\nOne student in particular has truly come out of his shell since we started using the TV for class activities. During music and dance sessions with videos, he is now eagerly participating with his peers. Seeing his happiness and growing confidence has been an unforgettable moment.\r\n\r\nFor students with different learning styles — especially visual learners — this tool has been a game-changer. It gives them multiple ways to connect with the material and participate in class discussions more confidently.","fullyFundedDate":1752586351688,"projectUrl":"project/fun-time-and-routines-with-a-new-classro/9369852/","projectTitle":"Fun Time and Routines With a New Classroom TV","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vega","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3656554_orig.jpg?crop=1200,1200,x0,y364&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724258897812","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3656554"},{"teacherId":2325806,"projectId":9254075,"letterContent":"Since it is still summer break, we haven't quite explored all the new items yet.
