I have several profoundly disabled children. They are all in wheelchairs and have medical needs of some sort. We work on goals and objectives such as curriculum, communication and developmental needs. Our school is a small school with a big heart! I am very proud to work in such a school. Our children with disabilities are treated just the same as other children. Our principals check on our children when they are out and are concerned when they are sick. The goals our disabled children reach are just as celebrated as the nondisabled.
