It's challenging working in a Title 1 school where materials are hard to come by. My students were very excited when they saw the donated boards because they honestly do not have extra money to pay for things like this. On average I spend about $500-$700 out of pocket for my students per year. As you well know, teachers are overworked and underpaid, especially in the state of Florida. I do not yet have photos of my students work, I was hoping to have them by now but their projects are not complete yet. Your donations to me and other teachers mean a lot. I could have gone into any occupation but I chose teaching which means, a lower income unfortunately. Good people like you who have the means to make donations are part of the solution, so I thank you.
