I am so appreciative of this because, for the past two years, all snacks and drinks came from me personally, which, as you can imagine, can get pretty expensive. In addition to the snacks, I also serve hot chocolate. Even though it might seem simple, having the snacks is very helpful because it's a good way for students to have something to eat in the mornings (as many of them aren't able to get breakfast) and to help keep them alert throughout a day-long boot camp.\r\n\r\nNot only were the snacks very helpful, but it is also great for the students to come in each morning to a freshly cleaned room. I have really great students, and I always want them to feel comfortable in my room. I believe a clean space allows them to focus better, as they are not distracted by clutter. It also helps them feel secure knowing they have a teacher who dedicates the start of every morning to creating a welcoming environment for them.\r\n\r\nThank you, donors, for your support.
