We've created a turn-taking schedule, and every student now gets to use a wobble chair for at least two days per week. My students love them so much that they eagerly follow the usage schedule—they don't want to miss their turn!\r\n\r\nThe impact on their focus has been remarkable. Children who used to leave their seats because of discomfort or restlessness are now remaining seated, focused, and completing their work. My students loved the new brushes and paint! Although the multicultural paint sets were out of stock, we pivoted to liquid tempera paint which we used to create our gorgeous Van Gogh Sunflowers! My students loved mixing the paints to create a dynamic background and made layered details on their flowers and leaves. The new brushes helped them create a variety of textures and really brought Van Gogh to life!
