It felt like Christmas each time a box was received. Lessons were put on a short pause to excitedly and eagerly unbox the treasures inside each box as a class. The goodies received have truly helped make our learning super fun and enjoyable!\r\n\r\nThe pillows and plushies are loved and appreciated by the children, who are able to cuddle with them when completing group work, rug work, or, as a privilege, at their seats. It brings a smile to see the children use their imaginations with the pillows and plushies, who now also have an additional friend donated by a student. It is awesome seeing a child grab their book, pencil, and pillow to comfortably complete group work on the rug.\r\n\r\nThe erasable colored dots have been so helpful with team and pair-share work. It is incredible seeing the children work together to jot down their responses on the colored dots and then share aloud.\r\n\r\nThe LCD boards, Guess Who game, the Chain Reaction kit, and Legos have provided the children with so much enjoyment during study time and Fun Fridays. The children love and look forward to using all the games and kits after a week of hard work.\r\n\r\nThe small toys received were used as treasure box prizes, and I must say, they came at the perfect time! They were used within days received to reward the children for their exam results. The children appreciate being rewarded for their hard work, examplary behavior, or positive attitude.\r\n\r\nDonors, I thank you so much. Thank you on behalf of the amazing second graders I have the privilege of teaching.
