My fourth graders had the opportunity to celebrate all of the hard work they put in throughout the year while practicing important skills like teamwork, communication, balance, coordination, and perseverance. Watching them use the hula hoops, scooters, and three-legged race bands reminded me how much children can learn through play. They encouraged each other, cheered each other on, and kept trying even when an activity was challenging. It was wonderful to see students who sometimes struggle in the classroom shine in a different way.\r\n\r\nMore than anything, these materials helped us create special memories together at the end of the school year. My students were able to celebrate not only their own accomplishments, but also the growth and success of their classmates. The laughter, teamwork, and encouragement we shared helped strengthen the classroom community we had worked so hard to build all year. I am so grateful to the donors who made this experience possible.
