Thanks to your kindness, my students have been immersed in hands-on science learning that has sparked curiosity, excitement, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.\r\nThe science materials you provided have transformed our classroom into a vibrant hub of exploration. Students are actively using magnifying glasses, measuring tools, and lab trays to conduct experiments and observe phenomena. These resources have made abstract concepts tangible--allowing students to engage with science in a way that is both meaningful and memorable. \r\nOne of the most magical experiences came from the Painted Lady Butterfly kit. Watching the life cycle unfold in real time was nothing short of awe-inspiring. My students carefully observed the caterpillars each day, documenting changes and making predictions. Then, one morning, we witnessed a breathtaking moment: a butterfly emerged from its chrysalis right before our eyes. The room fell silent as we watched it stretch its delicate wings for the first time. One student whispered, \"It's lkie watching a miracle,\" and that sentiment was shared by all.\r\nThis moment--and many others like it--would not have been possible without your generosity and support. You have helped create a classroom where wonder and learning go hand in hand. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their education.","fullyFundedDate":1748025430712,"projectUrl":"project/science-explorers-hands-on-adventures/9300175/","projectTitle":"Science Explorers: Hands-On Adventures in Earth Science and Beyond!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. De Cardenas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2486265_orig.jpg?crop=1694,1694,x0,y141&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746036231104","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2486265"},{"teacherId":4827380,"projectId":9275695,"letterContent":"My students were so excited to see the new materials. The first sensory bins I took out were the farm animal ones. We were reading The Farm Concert by Joy Cowley and we had been working on naming farm animals in English. \r\n\r\nI thought it would be great to add the 3 farm animal sensory bins to the Creativity Center. Students were drawn to the new materials. They used their senses to play with the sand, started naming the animals, and they loved the little barns and the tractors. \r\n\r\nThe next steps for this project is to introduce the other sensory bins and allow my students to explore with additional materials.
