Printer ink, laminating pouches, Expo markers, and other supplies allow me to create, print, reuse, and display engaging learning materials without having to limit my lessons because of supply shortages. These resources help me turn ideas into hands-on activities, classroom visuals, review materials, and durable resources that students can use throughout the school year. I have been able to print vivid visuals, colorful maps, and other useful resources to enhance my students' learning experiences. \r\n\r\nMost importantly, this grant allows me to put more of my focus where it belongs: on creating meaningful learning experiences for my students. Laminating supplies help me preserve activities and resources for future classes, while printer ink and markers make it possible to provide students with the materials they need when they need them. For a teacher these may seem like small supplies, but their impact adds up every day. The generosity of donors has helped make my classroom more engaging, organized, and well-equipped, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give my students resources that go beyond the basics.","fullyFundedDate":1778806635120,"projectUrl":"project/beyond-the-basics-help-stock-my-classro/10259756/","projectTitle":"Beyond the Basics! The funding allowed me to purchase ink, lamination supplies, and bulletin board paper and borders—items that may seem small, but that have had a profound impact on student learning, engagement, and classroom culture. These materials brought our walls to life and created an environment where history feels relevant, vivid, and exciting every single day.\r\n\r\nBefore receiving this grant, much of the classroom space was bare or covered with outdated materials that didn't reflect the lessons or themes we were currently studying. I wanted my students to be surrounded by visuals that made American history come alive—timelines, primary source excerpts, portraits of historical figures, and thematic displays highlighting major events. Sadly, I didn't have the necessary supplies to print or protect these resources. Thanks to DonorsChoose and the generous donors who supported our project, that changed.\r\n\r\nThis project may have begun with ink, paper, and borders, but its impact reaches far beyond classroom decoration. It has transformed how my students experience history—making it accessible, memorable, and meaningful. I am deeply grateful to DonorsChoose and to the donors who made this possible.
