We would first discuss the previous chapters and then I would play the audio of the next chapter. Students would then read the remaining week's chapters for homework. The nautical vocabulary, setting, and plot required students to dig deep and make connections beyond the surface.\r\n\r\nThe theme of constantly moving forward through all and any storm life throws at you allowed the students to connect with the main character, teaching them that your circumstances don't define your future. \r\nThank you, again!
