The use of electronics including this iPad will provide visually stimulating concepts. It will allow students the ease of transitioning from large front to small front in the click of a button. Use of various applications with characters, vibrant colors animations etc will provide active engagement to facilitate learning. By using a multi modal approach they will be able to use their finger to draw shapes and write letters and use the vary same device to transition to a using a stylus to improve fine motor skills needed for handwriting and self care tasks including zipper, snaps and buttons. This iPad is needed to facilitate learning to students where pencil and paper is a foreign object to them. During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and the entire school year with everything going digital, my ESE students where the most affected either due to lake of electronics and/or lack of knowledge to use by not just them but their parents also. I plan to incorporate the use of typing with my middle to high school students with the iPad as well as getting a stylus to work on letter formation with my younger friends.
