They absolutely love learning standing up and using the special seat cushions to help them focus. One student told me she wanted to stay in my class all day! The fidgets and rewards will come in handy, and I know my students are going to be so excited to earn these rewards for their hard work and learning! Students love coming to my class now. We have a rotating schedule for working at our new standing desks. A few of my students have so much energy, sitting at a desk all day is nearly impossible for them! They appreciate this gift given to my classroom as much as I do!\r\n\r\nStudents that have benefited from this contribution struggle with focus and completing work. Anything I can do to encourage productivity makes me so happy. I even had a few of my older students help assemble the desks and what a joy that was to witness. They helped each other, laughed, read and followed instructions and after about 30 minutes had built one of the standing desks! I know this means a lot to them! Creating a classroom that encourages positive behaviors, and learning is very important, and Donors Choose has helped me this year create a classroom that fosters learning for all.
