We have seen how something as simple as being hungry can make it much harder for students to focus, regulate their emotions, and make positive choices. Now, when a student is hungry, we can provide a snack before hunger becomes a barrier to learning.\r\n\r\nThis project has also been especially meaningful for students who may not always have access to snacks at home. They now know that when they come to school, there will be something available for them. No student has to worry about going hungry during the school day or feeling different because they don't have a snack.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, my classroom is a little calmer, my students are better able to focus, and they have one less thing to worry about. And they can easily refer to our new white board as reference. All classrooms come equipped with the necessary items to instruct a class, but in PE we have to make do with what we have. A rolling white board is a great addition to our outdoor classroom!
