The headphones you have helped purchase have been an incredible asset for my students. Because I work with English Language Learners, one of the primary goals is to teach them the basics of how English works, from building their knowledge of letter sounds to combinations, to putting words together to make sentences and answer questions on their own. One of the resources we use for class, Language Live, gives students from all levels of English proficiency an opportunity to learn what most native speakers learn starting in kindergarten. The headphones with this program give the students a safe space to work on these basic skills and continuously build on them. \r\n\r\nThese students also use the headphones to watch videos and respond in English, allowing me to see how their English is progressing from social English to more academically focused English when they are talking.
