They saw a room built for them. An interactive workshop designed to foster collaboration and exploration. The ten large whiteboards you provided are perfectly sized for groups of 3-4 students to share. Bright and expansive, they span nearly three walls of the room and are used almost daily. \r\nLessons are now designed to give the students the opportunity to develop and practice mathematical ideas together. It is during these times they explore, defend, and prove mathematical concepts while also correcting errors and refining their thinking. This time also allows for practice and error correction. Students can be heard using mathematical language as they correct each other's misconceptions or support another's reasoning.\r\nStudents take pride in their work. They often step back to admire it, even taking pictures to post on their social media.
