This year has been sooooooooo much better teaching and engaging with students during the school day without the distraction and temptation of phone usage at our site. Kids seem to be KIDS again, talking to each other, playing games, doodling, and enjoying the \"real life\" experience.\r\nWe have done blacklight poetry lessons, students requested multiple blacklight coloring sessions after, multiple craft stations and lunch experiences, all of which students have greatly enjoyed. \r\nAgain, thank you so much for your contributions for our students. Your donation provided essential supplies—such as copy paper and folders—that have made an immediate and meaningful difference in our daily learning environment.\r\n\r\nThese basic materials are the foundation of so much of what we do each day. With your help, students now have organized folders for notes and assignments, and we're able to print practice sets, study guides, and assessments without worry. In the past I would have to print half sheets, making things small and hard to read\r\n\r\nIt may seem like a small thing, but the ability to hand every student a fresh copy of guided notes or a review packet helps ensure that every learner has equal access to the materials they need to succeed. Each week, students from each of my classes earn the right to be called the Bolt of the Week. Those students get to sit in the nook area for the entire week when they are in English class. In addition, on Fridays, they receive a cup of hot chocolate and Pop-Tarts of their choice. \r\n\r\nI can not thank you enough for the positive behavior support that these resources have provided me and my students.
