We are especially grateful for the opportunity to expand the use of our 3D printing unit across multiple departments.\r\nWe would like to emphasize the importance of making the 3D printer mobile, allowing it to be shared beyond the CTE department and integrated meaningfully into math and science classrooms. A mobile unit ensures equitable access for students and enables interdisciplinary collaboration that strengthens learning outcomes.\r\nBy allowing math classes to use the printer for geometric modeling, measurement, scaling, and problem-solving—and science classes to design prototypes, lab tools, and engineering-based solutions—students can see direct, practical applications of abstract concepts. This shared use reinforces critical STEM skills such as design thinking, precision, data analysis, and iterative testing, while also aligning closely with CTE pathways.\r\nMost importantly, a mobile 3D printer promotes collaboration between departments, encouraging teachers and students to work together on cross-curricular projects that reflect real-world STEM and workforce practices. This approach maximizes the instructional value of the equipment while supporting innovation, creativity, and career readiness for all learners.\r\nThank you again for your commitment to student-centered learning and for recognizing the value of flexible, shared resources. Your support helps us create engaging, interdisciplinary experiences that prepare students for future academic and career success.","fullyFundedDate":1768700716228,"projectUrl":"project/a-mobile-3d-printing-station-to-power-st/10030122/","projectTitle":"A Mobile 3D Printing Station to Power Student Creativity","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. N.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4297289_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1487369793244","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-t-newfield"},{"teacherId":10033421,"projectId":9655009,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom through DonorsChoose. Because of your generosity, we received the laminating machine, laminating pouches, and printer supplies that have made a big difference in our daily learning activities.\r\n\r\nThese materials have helped me create durable and engaging instructional resources for my students. I have been able to laminate important instructional materials so they can be used repeatedly throughout the school year. For example, we created colorful bookmarks and other learning tools that students use during reading activities. Laminating them helps keep the materials organized and long-lasting.\r\n\r\nThe printer supplies have also been extremely helpful in making our lessons more engaging. Instead of using plain black-and-white copies, I can now print colorful images and visuals that help students better understand what we are studying. When we worked on Romeo and Juliet, I printed pictures of the characters and scenes from the play. Seeing the characters in color helped students visualize the story more clearly and made the lesson much more interesting and memorable.\r\n\r\nHaving access to these tools allows me to prepare materials that support different types of learners and keep students more involved in class. My students are excited to use the materials, and it truly enhances their learning experience.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in our classroom and helping create a more engaging learning environment for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1766673286863,"projectUrl":"project/from-print-to-progress/9655009/","projectTitle":"From Print to Progress","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Gallo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10033421"},{"teacherId":7194733,"projectId":9467398,"letterContent":"Due to your donation, my students have just begun their novel study of We Beat the Streets.
