Many had never created an interactive notebook before, so having dedicated supplies made the project feel both new and motivating. Their positive response set a great tone for introducing this hands-on learning routine.\r\n\r\nWe put the materials to use right away during our latest unit, where students build interactive pages to explore ELA Standards, vocabulary and to organize their thinking. Even after only the first entry into their notebooks, students quickly saw how these tools helped them better understand the content. The notebooks have already become a valued part of our daily lessons, giving students a clear and creative way to track their learning.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next step is to continue building these notebooks into yearlong learning portfolios. Students will keep adding new pages as we move through upcoming standards, using the notebooks to reflect on their progress and make connections across topics.
