My students are bright, curious, and full of energy as they step into the world of middle school. They come from a variety of backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to our classroom, but what they all share is a love of learning when it feels engaging and hands-on. They ask thoughtful questions, cheer each other on, and light up when given the chance to be creative. What I love most about them is their resilience and willingness to try new things. Even when the work feels challenging, they show determination and a desire to grow. They are at a stage where they’re beginning to discover their own voices as readers and writers, and I want to give them the tools and opportunities to shine.
