Six rolling carts and 6 filling organizers had to be assembled. My first thought was bringing in a parent volunteer but then I had a thought. What if I just paired up the kids and handed them a box. I watched in awe as they worked together, opened boxes, deal with lots of pieces and different little tools. I saw how they glanced over or dived deep into the directions. I saw piles of trash accumulate and then make their way to the garbage can. There may have been a rolling cart that was assembled backwards and had to be taken apart and rebuilt, but they figured it out.\r\n What was a simple request of teaming materials, turned into an amazing learning experience.
