My students are awesome! They come to school with so much potential and want to learn all they can. More than half of my students come from low income households, have a high absentee rate, or have a high mobility rate. (Sometimes all three.) Regardless, these students still want all the hugs, praise, and positive attention. They have goals and dreams. They want to make the world a better place. They want school to be a fun and safe place for them to learn. I want my classroom to be an environment where all of the above can occur on a daily basis for my students. At the end of the day, this is what I am there for. My students.
