The story of friendship reminded us all that we can care for each other no matter what.\r\n\r\nAnother class heard the students telling about the story and that teacher asked to use the set for a book study in her class! The love of reading is contagious with great books! However, after a quick lesson on \"Choosing What You Need\" versus \"Choosing What You Want,\" they quickly adapted.\r\n\r\nIn Speech Therapy Groups, the flexible seating helps create a calm and regulated environment essential for communication practice. A student working on articulation often finds it easier to focus on producing sounds correctly when using a sensory cushion on their chair to meet their sensory needs, rather than being forced into a rigid desk chair.
