Every day was so exciting when we got our new packages. The student's gathered around to see what was in each box as I opened them. Students have been actively using your donations to build, discuss, challenge each other, and gain a deeper understanding of our content. Student's have also grown tremendously in their ability to communicate and work together to problem solve. It has been such a privilege as a teacher to watch this. I have most enjoyed watching the smiles on their faces as they fully completed a building set, or completed a very difficult puzzle in record time. The solar system puzzle was a hit during our solar system unit. Student's used their knowledge of the order of planets to put the puzzle together instead of just relying on the shape of the puzzle pieces. Again, thank you so much for your donation.","fullyFundedDate":1768919166584,"projectUrl":"project/grants-for-great-ideas/9993101/","projectTitle":"Grants for Great Ideas","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Eyster","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10399148"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_30889","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":940,"numTeachers":73,"percentFrplEligible":46,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":9,"percentWhite":69,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"12.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":64.7,"schoolId":30889,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lake Asbury Junior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lake Asbury Junior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/clay-county-school-district/lake-asbury-junior-high-school/30889"}
